Mr. Disabato joined Meketa Investment Group in 2015 and has been in the financial services industry for 32 years. As a Managing Principal of the firm, Mr. Disabato works in our Chicago office and serves as the lead consultant on numerous corporate, foundation & endowment, healthcare, Taft-Hartley, and public funds. His consulting work includes investment strategy, asset allocation, and strategic risk management.
Prior to joining Meketa Investment Group, Mr. Disabato was the Managing Director of Disabato Advisers. He was also the Chief Investment Officer for Clark Consulting, a NYSE listed national benefits consulting firm, and a Senior Vice President of Kidder Peabody & Co., where he managed Kidder’s national investment consulting practice. He began his career as a chemical engineer with Exxon.
Mr. Disabato is a frequent contributor to various financial publications and a member of the Research Committee of the Plan Sponsor Council of America, the Research Advisory Panel for Pensions & Investments, the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, and the Government Finance Officers Association.
Mr. Disabato received a master’s degree from the Wharton School in Finance, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He has also been a guest lecturer for Finance at the University of Illinois, Northwestern, and DePaul University.
