The Analyst will work directly with the Public Markets investment team to perform
manager due diligence. The position’s responsibilities will include meeting with and evaluating the capabilities of marketable alternative investment
managers including hedge funds, hedge fund of funds and commodity managers, participating in and coordinating investment manager searches for clients, producing deliverables that review the funds identified during a manager search, presenting our research and recommendations to prospective and existing clients. The Private Markets Investment Associate works directly with consultants and other private markets investment professionals to provide investment consulting and investment management services. The Private Markets Investment Associate will participate in a range of investment activities, including: assisting with creating presentations of our research and recommendations to private market and general consulting clients, supporting the firm’s marketing efforts, and assisting with private markets investment research and manager due diligence. The Research Analyst is a member of the Public Markets Manager Research Team, the group within Meketa that performs due diligence on equity, fixed income, and hedge fund managers. The primary responsibility of the analyst is to research and analyze fixed income investment managers. The Research Analyst for Meketa Fiduciary Management will be responsible for generating capital markets research and investment research to assist the Chief Investment Officer and support the MFM Investment Committee. For full description, click here.
The Performance Analyst must be capable of working with MIG’s more complex client relationships. The Performance Analyst will also work with other MIG departments to ensure proper work flow, recommend and initiate work flow improvements, and increase inter-department communication. The Investment Operations Associate works for Meketa’s Outsourced Chief Investment Office (OCIO) group and will play an integral role in all aspects of portfolio implementation for the firm’s discretionary clients. These activities include daily portfolio monitoring, trade execution, settlement, documentation, and reconciliation of all transactions. The Investment Operations Associate may process transactions for a variety of vehicle types including separate accounts, commingled funds, mutual funds, and limited partnerships. The Private Markets Operations Assistant works directly with the Transfer Coordinator and other Operations professionals to successfully track all investment activity and documentation for invested partnerships of Meketa Investment Group. The Assistant will log and aid in the completion of cash flow transfers from initial documentation through email confirmation with custodian banks. Transfer activity includes: data collection and monitoring, cash flow issue resolution, creation of letters of direction, and reporting on internal cash flow statistics The Operations Assistant will manage the timely processing and posting of all partnership level financial documents. The Assistant will also assist in new client on-boarding and updating internal documents to accurately reflect partnership information for each Client such as commitment amount, commitment date, and wire instructions, as well as reporting quarterly on the statistics for cash flow transfers. The Technology Support Analyst works with a team of IT professionals to provide technology support to employees at multiple sites both in-person and remotely. Additionally this person assists with managing our corporate network and servers and is involved with various IT projects and initiatives. The Client Service Assistant is primarily responsible for providing administrative support to the investment staff, including word-processing, report production, and organizing and maintaining company files. The Client Service Assistant is also responsible for maintenance of contacts and calendars within the company’s contact database. For full description, click here.
The Front Office Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for providing back-up receptionist assistance ensuring proper front office coverage at all times. In addition, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for mail and fax distribution, posting and distributing the company calendar, arranging conference and video calls, and reviewing and monitoring the company calendar. The Administrative Assistant is also responsible for the preparation of facilities for in-house meetings, including provision of refreshments when necessary, and the set-up and clean-up of the conference rooms.
